With almost 20 years and over 100 unique concert productions, The Concert Factory is clearly one of the most professional and experienced creators of concerts featuring game and film music for symphony orchestras in Europe. Working together with orchestras like the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonics in Stockholm, DR Symfoniorkesteret and Nord Netherlands Orkest, The Concert Factory is well established in the world of symphony orchestras
For the future of the orchestra, nothing else is more important than create a platform to meet a new audience and establish a relation in the long run. The only way to do this is creating concerts showing dignity to both the musicians and the audience. The Concert Factory knows how to do this.
WHEN IT COMES TO EXPERIENCE
Unlike other production companies The Concert Factory doesn’t work with inflexible, ready made concepts, but tailor and adapt the productions to the current conditions and circumstances. Founded and run by the composer Magnus Johansson, The Concert Factory knows the orchestra and its music on all levels. With many years spent inside an institution, there is also a deep knowledge about how an orchestra are administrated – from bowing the string parts to holding a tight budget within its limits. Magnus Johansson
Composer and producer
The Composer and producer Magnus Johansson, born in 1975, has studied composition at Gotlands School of Composition and The Academy of Music in Malmö, Sweden. After writing several pieces for choirs and orchestra and one double trumpet concerto, he made his debut as an opera composer and librettist with the very successful chamber opera The Snowsister, based on a book by the Norwegian author Maja Lunde.
